Consumer Spotlight examines how people in the UK deal with money and financial services, with a unique focus on the capabilities and potential vulnerabilities of different groups.

The FCA  have been using Consumer Spotlight to build a deeper understanding of the people that we work to protect, their attitudes and behaviours, and what influences them when they make financial decisions.

Other organisations, including regulated firms, can explore this information to learn more about how the FCA views the retail financial services consumer landscape. You can search Consumer Spotlight to identify segments by age, income and location, and examine data for every segment across a range of product and demographic categories. You can also see the data the model is built on.
